Hello Jose,

can you please check if this also happen with a new plain userprofile?
Check also if some of the installed extensions be responsible.
To do this you can start icedove in a terminal with the parameter
'-safe-mode'.
If this all does'nt help stop your icedove (if running) and just
move your old profile like
$ mv ~/.icedove ~/.icedove.mine
Then (re)start icedove and repeat your allready done steps for
configuration.

If icedove crashes again please make a backtrace like discribed here:
http://wiki.debian.org/Icedove#Debugging

Append your output in a commpressed format here.

If you want your old profile, just remove back your backup
$ mv ~/.icedove.mine ~/.icedove

Thanks
Carsten
