Hello Jose, can you please check if this also happen with a new plain userprofile? Check also if some of the installed extensions be responsible. To do this you can start icedove in a terminal with the parameter '-safe-mode'. If this all does'nt help stop your icedove (if running) and just move your old profile like $ mv ~/.icedove ~/.icedove.mine Then (re)start icedove and repeat your allready done steps for configuration.
If icedove crashes again please make a backtrace like discribed here: http://wiki.debian.org/Icedove#Debugging Append your output in a commpressed format here. If you want your old profile, just remove back your backup $ mv ~/.icedove.mine ~/.icedove Thanks Carsten On Fri, Jul 13, 2012 at 09:35:54AM +0200, Jose Simon wrote: > Package: icedove > Version: 3.0.11-1+squeeze11 > Severity: normal > > > Recently setup an Imap account on Icedove, in addition to the default > one (Gmail) and when I tried to remove it today, after clicking on > 'Yes' on the dialog (would you really want to delete the > abc...@domain.com account), the whole program crashes.
