^^^^^^^^^^^^ YES to this part..I thought, but am not positive, that you can also do:
btlaunchmanycurses /tmp/torrents
which will pull the .torrent files from /tmp/torrents and put the
downloads into your CWD, I'd test this out first though.^^^^^^^^^^^^ nope. tested. it'll go to the containing directory of the torrent.
