Package: xcompmgr
Version: 1.1.5-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Hi,

I believe this bug is related to #582704.

After a random period of time, xcompmgr will stop updating parts of the screen.
Changing to VT and/or to other desktops doesn't help.
After killing xcompmgr, the screen is updated.

As per my entry in bug #582704, I assumed this was related to Chromium.
However, I've reached the conclusion that this can happen with any application
- it just happened to me with file-roller - but might be triggered more
frequently with Chromium.

If you would like my help to package xcompmgr for you to upload, please let me
know. The Ubuntu package is pretty much the same as the source, so it should be
relatively easy to port to Debian.

Regards,
Pedro
