numactl's debian/rules sets 'DEB_DH_MAKESHLIBS_ARGS := -V', which means reverse deps get a too strong dependency on libnuma1. Right now, this prevents hwloc from moving to wheezy to fix RC bug #664571. The shlibs dependencies should only be bumped when the ABI is modified (e.g. by adding new functions). Cheers, Julien
