severity 678250 serious tags 678250 + upstream patch thanks Hi, The check in the media-keys plugin for XI2 support is broken: it looks for XI2, doesn't find it because the XIQueryVersion check is broken (admittedly, so is the protocol), and bails out. This has already been fixed upstream, per this bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=673964
with this patch: http://bugzilla-attachments.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=211898 So it only happens on newer xserver/libXi, but I expect fixed versions of those to start making their way into Debian pretty soon.
