If you want to get the linker and compiler flags, I would recommend using the provided mozjs185.pc pkg-config file instead of js-config.
Interestingly, mozjs185.pc doesn't list ffi as a dependency. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
