Here is my previous mail again: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ that came also into my mind when I saw the (lost, shame on me) backtrace where zfec tried to load pyutil and zbase32, but then I found out that net-tools was required because of missing ifconfig on my laptop. Once I installed net-tools, Tahoe-LAFS started.
