In some way, I think this sequence of events is not really supported
in partman-auto-lvm.

It's likely that you first need to have partman-auto-lvm do its stuff
then write the partitions to disk......then do the other changes you
want to do.


But, indeed, the level of attention that partman-* gets nowadays also
allows for bugs to be there....:-)
