Package: jenkins Version: 1.447.2+dfsg-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Please can you add support for setting of the httpListenAddress option in Jekins, using the /etc/default/jenkins configuration file. This will allow binding to localhost (or other alternative IP) and then use another webserver (such as Apache) as a revery proxy in front of Jenkins - this is a fairly common setup I believe. https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Running+Jenkins+behind+Apache -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages jenkins depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii daemon 0.6.4-1 ii default-jre-headless [java6-runtime-headless] 1:1.6-47 ii jenkins-common 1.447.2+dfsg-1 ii openjdk-6-jre-headless [java6-runtime-headless] 6b24-1.11.3-2 ii psmisc 22.19-1 jenkins recommends no packages. jenkins suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/jenkins changed [not included] -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
