I'm using the IMAGEDIR variable in /etc/kernel-pkg.conf to keep different kernels in different locations IMAGEDIR := /boot/$(version) When I make an apt-get --purge remove kernel-image-$(version) the postrm script failed because it can not chdir to $image_dest.
