I forgot to mention the behavior I would expect. I see 3 solutions that make sens.
1) A percentage always proportional to the currently extracting file. That is, extracting file0 and file2 would display percentage from 0% to 100% for file0 and 0% to 100% for file2. 2) A percentage that is proportional to the whole amount of data to be extracted. And thus extracting file0 and file2 would display percentage from 0% to 50% when extracting file0 and from 50% to 100% when extracting the file2. 3) Even better: display both.
