I opened a bug report 2 months ago on Launchpad since the Stopmotion project has moved to Launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/lsm/+bug/1011999 Tim Band provided several patches that fix the issue in several components, see comments #4, #8, #15 and #20. He also found a bug in libtar that avoids his patches to work, see comment #3. All these patches work on the current version of Debian Squeeze. I made several tests and his patches solved all the issues related to non-ASCII characters in file names. Finally there is another patch that makes the Stopmotion preference file use Unicode (see comment #17). However this doesn't deal with converting preexisting user's preference file. -- Cheers, JM. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
