There has been a discussion in news.software.readers quite some time ago
where a majority of users was in favour of letting interactive commands
(like followup, print, save etc.) affect the currently displayed article
rather than the currently highlighted one.

So back then (in 0.9.7.0), they convinced me to change this and I also
changed create_score to stay consistent with the rest of interactive
commands. Now, some people find the new behaviour counterintuitive.

I guess there is no simple way to satisfy everybody here. If we see the
planned separation of header and article mode in the future, this will
solve this problem (while you're in header mode, killing will affect the
highlighted article; while in article mode, the displayed article).

If you want to be sure that the highlighted article gets killed, 'h'ide
the article pane first. The one-key scoring macro even has a config option
(affect_article_at_cursor) that will do this automatically for you.
