Hi Ryan and Julien, A patch is available at that link to correct the issue with version 1.1.6. I have tested the patch and seems to fix it, running a self compiled 1.1.6 + the published patch. Xcompmgr has a very long release cycle - is it still possible to put this in Wheezy? I wouldn't call this bug a showstopper, but pretty much makes this package unusable in a modern desktop.
