Package: gnuplot-mode Version: 1:0.6.0-8 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/gnuplot-mode/gnuplot.el
It'd be good if "M-x gnuplot-mode" didn't display it's version number message. A find-file sometimes has other messages like read-only etc and it's helpful if a mode starts up quietly so as not to lose those. I see there's already keystroke bindings for the mode and program versions if/when desired. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnuplot-mode depends on: ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a+1-5.7 ii emacs22-gtk [emacsen] 22.3+1-1.2 ii emacs23 [emacsen] 23.4+1-3 ii emacs24 [emacsen] 24.1+1-4 ii gnuplot-x11 [gnuplot-nox] 4.6.0-8 ii xemacs21 21.4.22-3.2 ii xemacs21-mule [xemacs21] 21.4.22-3.2+b1 gnuplot-mode recommends no packages.
