thanks for your bug report and patch, but sadly it doesn't apply:
$ git checkout 0.45
HEAD is now at b8dabb8... release as 0.45 to sid
$ patch -p0 --dry-run < patch686360
patching file /usr/sbin/piuparts
Hunk #1 FAILED at 800.
Hunk #2 FAILED at 845.
Hunk #3 FAILED at 875.
3 out of 3 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file /usr/sbin/piuparts.rej
I got patch686360 by wgetting the mbox from the bts, maybe you can just attach
your patch/patched file instead?
