Package: colordiff Version: 1.0.9-1 Version: 1.0.10-1 Severity: normal Hi,
this may be the same issue as described in http://bugs.debian.org/681019 (colordiff doesn't colourise wdiff output in all cases) but it's also possible that it's a completely different issue (according to the examples, not according to the subject :-), hence I'm reporting it seperately. Feel free to merge those two bug reports if you think they describe the same issue. Given the following wdiff output: foo [-barf blafasel-] {+bar bla+} fnord [-hurz-] gnarz colordiff only marks the second last line red. The [- -] and {+ +} sections spawning two lines each don't get coloured by colordiff. (Issue reported from a Squeeze machine, but it also happens in Wheezy and Sid.) For the sake of completenes, here's the contents of the two files: a.txt: foo barf blafasel fnord hurz gnarz b.txt: foo bar bla fnord gnarz P.S.: Thanks for having written and maintaining colordiff -- it's an immensely useful tool. :-) -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages colordiff depends on: ii perl 5.10.1-17squeeze3 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction colordiff recommends no packages. colordiff suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
