Package: debirf Version: 0.32 Severity: wishlist I was having problems booting a debirf image that had a 98MB initramfs image, it would load the kernel and the initramfs image and then complain "Boot failed: press a key to retry, or wait for reset". After some searching I discovered that adding
root=/dev/ram0 to the kernel cmdline allowed it to boot. What is this doing that fixes the problem? Is this an appropriate way to solve the problem?
