Thanks for catching this. I understand the problem, but I'm failing to
grasp the solution. Can you elaborate a bit more? I agree that defining
HAVE_EFFICIENT_...is a good thing for architectures that support it,
but this patch would be global to all builds, no?
I think there's been a misunderstanding here. The file I attached is not
a patch. It's merely an illustration of the problem.
