Kyle wants the files kept separate from VM. I was going to simply add
the files directly to emacs-goodies-el today but realised that this
works for u-vm-color.el but not for vm-rfaddons.el. It has (undeclared)
requirements on VM being loaded. This is for `vm-xemacs-p',
`vm-mime-external-content-types-alist', `vm-mode-map', etc...
First, this is broken and dependencies need to be added for
byte-compilation to ever work. Second, obviously I can't make
the emacs-goodies-el binary package depend on VM.

So the ball is in Manoj or any other user of these files to volunteer to
maintain a sub-package from the emacs-goodies-el sources (similarly to
gnus-bonus-el).
I suppose it would be counterproductive to add only u-vm-color.el to the
emacs-goodies-el binary package at this point.
Thanks,
