Well, the problem is that dist-upgrade from sid to experimental does just nothing, although there is a newer version of tetex-extra (and some of its dependencies) in experimental: 2m18.8s DEBUG: Starting command: chroot /tmp/tmpUg_gOl apt-get -yf dist-upgrade 2m18.9s DUMP: Reading package lists... 2m18.9s DUMP: Building dependency tree... 2m18.9s DUMP: 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. 2m18.9s DEBUG: Command ok: 'chroot /tmp/tmpUg_gOl apt-get -yf dist-upgrade' It never seems to actually upgrade to the experimental versions; it just installs the versions from unstable and purges them again (which gives some errors, but honestly I don't care about them - I care about getting the experimental packages ready for unstable). Is this clear enough? Regards, Frank -- Frank Küster Inst. f. Biochemie der Univ. Zürich Debian Developer
