ldapvi on wheezy puts the following into the files one is supposed to edit: | # -*- coding: utf-8 -*- vim:encoding=utf-8: | # http://www.lichteblau.com/ldapvi/manual#syntax This causes my vim to scream at me on startup: | "/tmp/ldapvi-QqV7g5/data" 2713L, 92844C | Error detected while processing modelines: | line 1: | E520: Not allowed in a modeline: encoding=utf-8 | Press ENTER or type command to continue Please make ldapvi do something smarter that doesn't make vim freak out.
