Package: fontforge Version: 0.0.20120101+git-2 Severity: minor Hi,
I wonder why the fontforge build is configured "--with-freetype-bytecode" only for Ubuntu. It seems this was introduced on purpose in GIT commit 84e75ad "Updated to version 0.0.20080828." but it is nowhere documented why only Ubuntu should get the bytecode interpreter but not Debian. Please consider enabling this option for Debian as well, escpecially since the bytecode interpreter has been enabled by default by freetype upstream since version 2.4. - Fabian -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (901, 'testing'), (501, 'unstable'), (401, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages fontforge depends on: ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-2 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7 ii libfontforge1 0.0.20120101+git-2 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1 ii libgdraw4 0.0.20120101+git-2 ii libgif4 4.1.6-9.1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.32.3-1 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libjpeg8 8d-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libpng12-0 1.2.49-1 ii libpython2.7 2.7.3~rc2-2.1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libspiro0 20071029-2 ii libtiff4 3.9.6-7 ii libuninameslist0 0.0.20091231-1.1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 ii libxft2 2.3.1-1 ii libxml2 2.8.0+dfsg1-5 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 fontforge recommends no packages.
