Package: guitarix
Severity: minor
Hello, I was checking what to use with my PC + guitar, found this
tremendous app, and
spotted some mistakes in the package description : )
For reference, actual description is:
Guitarix is a rock guitar amplifier for Jack (Jack Audio Connection Kit)
with one input and two output's. It is designed to get nice
trash/metall/rock/guitar sounds. Available are controls for bass,
treble, gain, balance, distortion, freeverb, crybaby(wah) and echo. For
the 'pressure' in the sound you can use the feedback and feedforward
sliders. guitarix comes with a GTK Interface and as Ladspa plugin.
And mistakes are:
"one input and two output's" You don't need to express posession, but
plural form, hence
drop the apostrophe as in "and two outputs"
"designed to get nice trash/metall/rock/" "metal", not "metall"
"Available are controls for bass, treble" Strange phrasing, you can just
say "Controls available for"
or "Incorporates controls for"...
"GTK Interface" -> "GTK interface"
Just these changes would leave a fine description.
As an extra, here you have Fedora's package description, which you may
or may not like (too
complete for me) but that may give you something you like for Debian's
package description.
