Package: icedove Version: 10.0.7-1 Severity: important Hi,
I'm not sure whether this is a bug in icedove, my X server, or in awesome (my window manager), but since I only experience it when I'm using icedove, I think this is the best guess. I'm also aware that this is a pretty vague description, and that it's probably not going to help much, but I can't help it. Whenever I use icedove for more than a few seconds or minutes, chances that my X server refuses all inputs apart from the movement of my mouse will approach one. That is, when this happens, the mouse pointer will still move around, but everything else will fail: no keyboard inputs or mouse button inputs will be accepted. The only solution thus far that I've found is a hard reset: push the power button until the screen goes blank, and reboot. Needless to say, this is very painful. I have been considering switching from mutt to icedove as my primary mail client, but obviously this is a major blocker to make this a possibility.
