I'm actually surprised this worked. So far I thought hdparm code would only work with devices and not links to devices. As it turns out I just uploaded 9.42-1 which is supposed to fix this problem. Would you mind trying if the new version has a different effect than the one you were using? There is no change to the resume side so far, I'd like to figure out what happens/happened with those links first.
