Package: gnome-panel Version: 3.4.2.1-2+b1 Severity: normal Double forking when launching applications breaks .desktop files using Exec=pkexec /usr/bin/foo as can be seen in [1]. GNOME Shell has been fixed in the mean time, and there is a patch at [2] for gnome-panel which we should consider cherry-picking.
