We had an agreement with bug submitter that I'll make and test a similar setup. I'm quite close for having working OpenLDAP setup at work in our lab, but I think I'll need some assistance and/or advice from Greg to do this. Let's start ASAP then. My first question is how to add users to OpenLDAP comfortably (as with e.g. Debian's adduser tool) -- I don't want to _migrate_ all users from passwd/shadow to LDAP using padl. I merely want to have LDAP _parallel_ with "files" and NIS database. I think I _can_ add users/groups by _manually_ importing .ldif files, but I'm too lazy for this hand work. That's the only reason ATM why I still don't have LDAP users in lab. -- WBR, xrgtn -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
