I had the same problem with love. It was trivial to switch from the upstream-provided copy to the Debian package; see the patch in love's svn for details. (The fact that Miriam had already written most of the patch made it even more trivial, I just had to activate the code; thanks Miriam. :-) ) Thanks, Bas
