First of all, thanks Mike for all the hard work that you've been doing in
maintaining iceweasel.
Anyway, just as extra information for those that see this bug report, what
Mike said as:

Is now not that relevant anymore, as mozilla's plans for use of H.264 have
changed. Just one instance of discussion related to this:
