Package: debian-reference-fr
Version: 2.48
Severity: wishlist

Hi.

In
file:///usr/share/doc/debian-reference-common/html/ch01.fr.html#_literal_lang_literal_variable
 the examples are given exactly as in the original english reference, i.e. with
a default system locale of en_US.UTF-8.

I think it would be better to switch it to fr_FR.UTF-8 which should be the
default for a french user, and then the setting of LANG would be explicit with
'LANG=en_US.UTF-8 date' for instance.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
