I am very uncomfortable about this bug report. First of all the patch
seems to change the actual foreign language strings.
Secondly I believe all the maintenance scripts require a top-to-bottom
review which will make them fuzzy again.
If anything was supposed to have happened to these strings it should
have happened long before I started working on this package as these
strings were not touched during my time. So altogether I am not denying
that there is an issue, but perhaps this is too little too late?
