The documentation for how to use the 'auto.master.d' feature is really non-existing. What exists is a sketch from the designer for what it is (or how it should be.) Fedora 18 is sketchy about how it should be deployed. Some sites has a puppet config for deploying autofs in a cluster. As a trial-and-error (intent was to replace '/home /etc/auto.home') i have tried theese variations: /etc/auto.master.d/home.autofs /etc/auto.master.d/auto.home /etc/auto.master.d/net2.autofs with content: ----- /net2 -hosts ----- as far as i can see i was unsuccessfull at making autofs acknowledge theese. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
