Package: fwbuilder Version: 5.1.0-3 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
Some systems have network interfaces that are only sometimes present - for example, VPN links. It would be useful to include these interfaces in the fwbuilder configuration and have rules matching them (with the intention that they never match when the interface is not present). However, doing this at present means that if the generated firewall script is executed when the interface is _not_ present, the whole script will fail and not establish the firewall properly on any of the interfaces. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.6.6-truffula (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages fwbuilder depends on: ii fwbuilder-common 5.1.0-3 ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-4 ii libqt4-network 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libsnmp15 5.4.3~dfsg-2.6 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-4 ii libxml2 2.8.0+dfsg1-6 ii libxslt1.1 1.1.26-14 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages fwbuilder recommends: ii fwbuilder-doc 5.1.0-3 fwbuilder suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
