Package: virt-manager Version: 0.9.4-2 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Dear Maintainer,
The packaged version in debian (testing or unstable) is not able to connect to a serial console on a XEN host via SSH and reports the problem 'Cannot open a device with no alias name'. There has been a patch around for this problem which could be easily incorporated into the Debian package. The Bug-report and also the patch (commenting out 2 lines) is available http://bugzillafiles.novell.org/attachment.cgi?id=506198 It would be great if you could fix this problem for wheezy.
