Lucas, another user has found out that this happens when you declare an alias like "alias nouveau off", which was actually supported by modutils: http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/man/man5/modules.conf.5.html It looks like some nvidia package automatically create these aliases, can you special case off and null since they worked with m-i-t? -- ciao, Marco
