I had another look at the XZ standard (http://tukaani.org/xz/xz-file-format-1.0.4.txt)
While a typical file contains only one Stream and no Stream Padding, a decoder handling standalone .xz files SHOULD support files that have more than one Stream or Stream Padding. My interpretation is that this bug is a wishlist bug in busybox, that affects pxz.
