CityHash 1.1 is not the same algorithm as 1.0! Upgrading from 1.0.3 to 1.1 breaks any code that uses it. I think cityhash11 and cityhash103 should be separate binary packages entirely. At the very least, the shlib version must be bumped, so if you build 1.1 you make libcityhash1.
