I would appreciate if you could provide a patch. I looked at what you suggest but, not being a deep Perl wizard, I'm reluctant to simply add the said hunk without confirmation that it doesn't need something else. For instance, it seems to refer to the --upper and --lower command line options, but arethese supported in 1.12? With a patch, I could easily consider asking for a freeze exception for this bug. --
