Package: synaptic
Version: 0.75.13
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

In a situation when there is neither "yelp", konqueror" or "mozilla" is not
present (LXDE desktop is one), Synaptic does not show help contents from the
menu Help > Contents but instead a warning message:

> No help viewer is installed!
>
> You need either the GNOME help viewer 'yelp', the 'konqueror' browser or the
> 'mozilla' browser to view the synaptic manual.

What I think is the bug here is that none of Debian packages provide "mozilla"
binary, and it is very probable that if some package ships "x-www-browser" it
will support giving a local html file name on the command line.

Cheers,
Juhani Numminen
