Package: libgphoto2-2 Version: 2.1.6-5.1 Severity: normal
Hello Frederic, the package fails to be configured if udev is not installed: Setting up libgphoto2-2 (2.1.6-5.1) ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/libgphoto2-2.postinst: line 25: /etc/udev/libgphoto2.rules: No such file or directory dpkg: error processing libgphoto2-2 (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 The package recommends udev | hotplug, and I use hotplug. The problem is that in my case, /etc/udev doesn't exist. One solution could be to include all the necessary files / links in the package, so that the paths are created by dpkg, and to patch it in postinst.
