Hi, Thanks for the suggestion and I appreciate the idea. Unfortunately, I don't think the solution is this simple; the problem being that the "obsolete-packages" data file causes an unconditional tag, but as I understand the "hal" situation, hal is only obsolete on linux-any platforms.
