Hello developers,
this is a bug report against AUCTeX 11.87 from the Debian BTS system,
affecting Debian release 11.87-1.
ATM I have no time to investigate it, therefore I am not sure if it is
really an upstream bug or not; however, from what the submitter writes,
it seems not unlikely.

Dear Maintainer,
(I *think* this is an upstream bug)
Since 11.87, staring emacs as a daemon with emacs --daemon blocks on the
(require 'latex)
line of my .emacs. No such problem when staring emacs normally on foreground.
This can be overcome by putting configuration which would require auctex
into LaTeX-mode-hook (and this approach is arguably more correct),
but still, this is a bug.
