package gnome-pilot tags 237631 patch stop I have used this patch for monthes (I cannot tell if it is the best way but can confirm this tracked the right flaw). My last issues (using a Palm V) is that gnome-pilot try to send mutli days events which are not supported by the OS (I guess palm <=3.5 maybe above too). Jpilot works well so I guess the fix is a matter of hours (though I have not Managed to get it done for a year :-(
Though the split mutli days events options on evolution conduits did Not help so the issue may be otherwise. The crash happens in pilot-link (that jpilot also use) though I believe it to be wrong to "fix" it by adding policy so low in the chain (though I believe pilot-link should not crash, but report an error). PS: would not a comainternaiship with the ubuntu maintenair be a solution. It looks like you miss the time to handles the few (though really harmfull) Bugs. But you are the one who know this package the best ... Or at least a request for help ? I am sorry not to have been able to help. Helping getting evolution calendar "stable" (else gnome-pilot was not that usefull ) eated so much already.
