Package: moreutils
Version: 0.47
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

This should print 3 "foo"s, but doesn't:

% echo foo | pee cat echo cat cat | nl -b a
             1
             2 foo

Discovered the above, while trying to print "hi\nho\n":

% echo hi | pee cat "echo ho"
        hi
        ho
        # add a 'cat' and the order changes.
% echo hi | pee cat "echo ho" cat
        ho
        hi

HTH...
