Package: mhddfs
Version: 0.1.39

I found a very high cpu load when copying data to a mhddfs volume.
It is independant of the write data rate.
For a stream of 20MB/s with dd from /dev/zero at full speed i found 70% cpu load.
For a stream of 1MB/s with VDR recording a video the load is the same.
So i want to ask if there is mhddfs doing a busy wait when writing to it
and if is it possible to avoid that ?
I am using it on a VDR system to make a write cache on a local ssd with later moving the files to a cifs share on my home network. The small Intel Atom is always in overload when recording two streams at same time. Doing so on ssd directly allows five ore more streams limited by other
factors then.
I am using Debian testing on x64.
