Presumably you will want to use the partition after creating it, for instance, to mkfs on it, thus, it is a failure to not inform the kernel of the changes. The question is, why is it failing to inform the kernel? Would you be able to collect an strace log? Also does running blockdev --rereadpt /dev/drbd0 work and cause the partition to show up? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with undefined - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJQ7b+3AAoJEJrBOlT6nu75TKAIALEBNqWUcL+PLCh7lkVwqYR1 yMERK2ndynduQjaFp6hVDIG5OX2tJZVaMamSZF9Wxld2c32hgDSp+lAEeEfqhPOb 0AX3VazuM9xI+5xUWoXXXM5GEl18wLfRrtGgKNwVi3Pg6vBzELt4qzDBhOO3ZLFz 6lyMpV1DQOMiaf1NILZw0RL6qv5B0aBlnREjfHq5ZZrfCDV7T9A5IcIsfEIB3GXx 1bHIP0nKSIRFAPfg9yntSrC1p7joKZ3MFm4+aQnWi/9jCgR+bcHMv7D8jLbOBTt1 mPQ5C2WVM1EVnQehSOCB+VdAicf+SgKGHWFjU6do7kdzJllIBcL68UBb2O2EbXs= =n1dV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
