Another user bitten by this chiming in. I just upgraded my Wheezy installation, which upgraded both dovecot-core and dovecot-imapd from 1:2.1.7-2 to 1:2.1.7-6, and after the upgrade I could also no longer access my mailboxes.
The change Jerry Quinn mentioned fixed it for me again, but Wheezy has been frozen for quite a while now. I didn't expect a (supposed) bugfix upgrade of Dovecot to completely break mail access on my system. Thankfully I know to check for already existing Debian bugs for the package, but if I had been a slightly more ordinary user, I would have been stuck with a broken mail system and no idea how to fix it. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
