Looks good, except that part of your patch (the 'allpydbg' bits) is specific to the Ubuntu packaging. It's a nice clean approach, though, so those bits are easy enough to filter out. I'll put it in the next upload. Which I guess I really should upload soon, eh. (Upstream got a few patchlevels ahead of me again.)
