Actually, things are going to be easier than I thought: once these
bugs' severity is bumped to important (which totally makes sense IMHO,
so I plan to do in a few days unless someone objects), the suggested
upload can be considered by the Release Team thanks to this rule:

  3. fixes for severity: important bugs in packages of priority:
     optional or extra, only when this can be done via unstable;

(Another consequence of my mistake is that the version number is wrong
in my 0002-cairo-1.12.2-2-deb7u1.patch. It should be 1.12.2-3 or
1.12.2-2.1 instead, depending on who prepares the upload.)

Cheers,
